The panel shared their experiences and views on the challenges and solutions for sustainability in supply chain management, operation management, logistics and transportation.
Mr. Mimani spoke about the high emissions contribution of heavy trucking and the criticality of corporates taking quick actions to mitigate the impact of their road logistics on the environment. He shared that this proposition has received an emphatic, positive response from leading corporates such as JK Lakshmi Cement, UltraTech Cement, Dalmia Cement, etc.
He also highlighted the pioneering role of GreenLine in creating an integrated ecosystem through collaborations with companies such as Blue Energy Motors and Ultra Gas & Energy, thereby making LNG trucking a possibility in a market that had lagged significantly behind global peers in this respect.
The audience, and the panel, responded enthusiastically to these initiatives of GreenLine, the first and only company that is actively enabling decarbonisation of heavy trucking in India.
