Mr. Anand Mimani, CEO, GreenLine, participated in the webinar on ‘e-Trucks: Applicability and the Required Policy Push’, under the e-Mobility Knowledge Webinar Series organized by pManifold, a clean energy, utilities, and smart infrastructure-focused research and consulting company, with a diverse portfolio covering Energy, Transport, e-Mobility, and Hydrogen. 

The panel discussion aimed to uncover key insights and strategies to drive India’s ZET objectives and accelerate the transition towards a sustainable future.

Mr. Mimani spoke about the criticality of taking quick actions to mitigate the emissions impact of road logistics. He highlighted the unique advantages of LNG-powered trucking as the best alternative to diesel for decarbonizing logistics, with immediate effect. 

He spoke about how GreenLine has played a pioneering role in making low emission logistics possible through collaborations with OEMs such as Blue Energy Motors and refueling infrastructure companies.

He highlighted the need for the Indian government to create an enabling policy framework that addresses current taxation anomalies and creates a level playing field to incentivize investments in development of the ecosystem for alternate technologies such as LNG and EV for long haul heavy duty trucking.
