GreenLine showcases industry leadership at ICC NICER GLOBE LogNext 2025

GreenLine, India’s leading green logistics solutions provider, demonstrated its industry leadership at the 3rd ICC NICER GLOBE LogNext 2025, held on 30th June 2025 at the Taj, Mumbai. Organised by the Indian Chemical Council under its NICER GLOBE initiative, the event served as a key platform to discuss safety and sustainability challenges and opportunities within chemical logistics.

Representing GreenLine, CEO, Anand Mimani participated in a distinguished panel alongside Dr. Mrityunjay Chaubey, Global Vice President and Head of Sustainability at UPL Limited, and Dr. Sangeeta Srivastava, Executive Director of Godavari Biorefineries Limited. The discussion was moderated by Hemant Vinod, Director of Business Consulting at KPMG.

During the panel, Mr. Mimani highlighted GreenLine’s pioneering efforts to decarbonise road logistics. The company’s unique approach integrates LNG-powered trucks for long-haul transport and electric vehicles for short-haul operations, enabling substantial CO₂ reduction without increasing costs for customers. He also shared insights on GreenLine’s innovative real-time carbon tracking and certification system, audited by a government-approved third party, which empowers customers to enhance their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

Mr. Mimani further emphasised GreenLine’s commitment to driver welfare and safety, driven by advanced Netradyne AI systems, in-cabin monitoring, and air-conditioned vehicles. Notably, the company is advancing inclusivity through its ‘She Move’ initiative, pioneering the deployment of women drivers in logistics—a step that combines sustainability with social responsibility.

Despite these advances, challenges remain. Mr. Mimani pointed to limited LNG refuelling infrastructure, higher upfront capital costs for green vehicles, and the need for wider financing support as barriers slowing the adoption of cleaner fuels. He called for greater collaboration among industry stakeholders and customers to overcome these obstacles and accelerate the transition toward greener logistics.

As the sector stands at a critical inflection point, GreenLine remains dedicated to building a resilient, low-carbon logistics ecosystem through clean fuel adoption, cutting-edge technology, and strong industry collaboration- delivering measurable value to customers, communities, and the environment.
